Petra

Petra is one of the new seven wonders of the world.  It was established as the capital of the Nabataeans in the 6th Century and is best described as “a rose red city half as old as time.”  The entire city is carved out of the sides of mountains and stone and are enormous structures towering over the tourists that come from all over the world to experience the architecture.

The Monastery

NOTE: at the very top of The Monastery two local Bedouin men scaled the mountain bare handed before our very eyes and were just straight chillin at the top.
